CRILOI - Galleria / candle holder

GALLERIA, an architectural candle holder set.

GALLERIA marks the first collaboration between Ambroise Maggiar and CRILOI.

GALLERIA is also the name given to covered and pedestrian spaces featured by monumental architecture, whose Italian origins symbolize the passage, like the impressive Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II overlooking Piazza del Duomo.

GALLERIA consists of two candle holders units made of white Carrara marble and green Guatemala marble. The GALLERIA set is entirely sculpted by hand by marble craftsmen from the historic quarries of Tuscany and can hold between one and three candles, depending on the unit size. Both decorative and functional, the contemporary arches play with volumes and contrasts, switching from green to white marble color blocks in a checkerboard fashion spirit.

Solo or in duo, these two units respond to each other and can be assembled to become a true architectural centerpiece recreating the essence of the great Milanese monuments. The beveled edges give pieces a streamlined allure, created to prevent wax from spilling over the facets.
